Mechanical properties of laminated bamboo composite as a sustainable green material for fishing vessel: Correlation of layer configuration in various mechanical tests

Abstract With the increased emphasis on need to use recyclable bio-based materials and a better understanding of mechanical properties laminated bamboo, there is currently great deal interest in developing new generation low-cost bamboo-based composites for fishing vessels. Laminated bamboo (LBCs) comprised Apus ( Gigantochloa apus ) fibreglass mats were investigated obtain characteristics.
